Door pulls similar to what you see pictured have been manufactured at Del Mar for two of the most prominent lock set makers in the country. These can be produced in either a smooth or textured finish. Approximately 250 parts are produced in an hour from a two cavity die. The zinc door pull is both graceful in design and rugged in its application. The door pull can be produced with or without a hole for a thumb lever simply by changing inserts in the die. Casting holes via additional inserts may also provide for a key plug to allow entry by key. The door pull when produced as a zinc die casting is strong and sturdy and therefore resistant to intruders while still being aesthetically pleasing and economical to produce.
