Innovative Approaches to Tooling

Over the years, Del Mar Industries has developed innovative approaches to tooling that allow us to maximize die versatility while minimizing set-up times. With our unit die systems we can run as many as four separate die cast dies together in one machine at the same time, resulting in significant cost savings for our customers. Our master holders for these unit dies are designed for quick-changing of dies that further reduce cost by minimizing set up time. Our four-slide capabilities offer the lowest tooling cost option if your application is small in size but large in annual volume, and of course, we build fully contained, complete dies when your application warrants such.

No matter what size die is needed, we use only premium grade, H-13 tool steel that is 100% certified to precise specifications, providing for the longest possible tool life. All tools are cleaned and oiled after each production run and then catalogued into dedicated storage areas.
